Yaki hair is defined as the processed texture in which hair resembles chemically relaxed hair. Yaki hair may come from a synthetic, Remy or non-Remy source. Yaki hair is defined as having the texture of chemically relaxed Afro Caribbean hair. Yaki hair is available in four variations: Silky or Straight Yaki, Regular Yaki, Kinky Yaki, and Coarse Yaki. Silky or Straight Yaki hair looks like hair that has been flat-ironed or relaxed. Regular Yaki hair is similar to relaxed hair, but is not as silky as Silky or Straight Yaki. Kinky Yaki hair resembles hair that has been blown straight but has not been chemically relaxed. Kinky Yaki usually has a thicker texture and looks more natural. Coarse Yaki hair resembles untreated Afro Caribbean hair and may be Wavy Coarse of Curly Coarse.
