DISCLAIMER: Any domestic package over $500 in product value will require a signature confirmation. We do this to ensure safety for our customers and to have the packages successfully delivered. If for any reason you are unable to sign for the package upon the estimated delivery date, you may contact USPS at 1-800-275-8777, to schedule a pick up time or to reschedule a delivery date. Any packages that have been rerouted back to us will incur extra shipping fees to have the package redelivered. Any orders canceled after being processed in our facilities, will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
We are also not responsible for manufacturer caused delays or shipping company caused delays in delivery of packages.
Coupon Code & Promotions
Only one code per order. Can not be combined with any other promotional codes but can be combined with VIP rewards. No rain checks. Non-transferable. Coupon codes and promotions can not be applied to previous orders. Coupon code and promotional offers are only valid during the time frame indicated.
The following brands are excluded from our sales (except for shipping promotions): Milano Collection, Moroccan Gold Series, Suavecita, Tony Of Beverly.
Returns & Exchanges
At UptownWigs.com customer satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we will gladly exchange or refund the item. Please ship the item back with the return/exchange form included on the backside of your invoice within 14 days of receipt.
- Items must be sent back within 14 days of receipt in new condition. Items cannot be worn or tried on, must be in the original packaging with all tags attached and be odor-free. Bellami, Milano Collection, accessories, clearance sale items, and price matched items are FINAL SALE.*
- Refund amount will be calculated based on return item cost only. Shipping fees for returns are to be paid by the customer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. For your convenience, return labels are included for domestic orders**. A $10 deduction will be made from any refund to the return when used. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages
- Promotional items of the product being returned must also be sent back; otherwise retail value will be charged.
- Discounts from promotions and expedited shipping fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All the items we sell are in new and unworn condition. Therefore, we have 2 refund options in place:
- 100% Refund as store credit*. Store credit does not expire and you may apply it towards future purchases at any time. Only a registered account is required. Our Hair Gurus can assist you in setting up an account if you don't have one.
- Refund to original payment method with a 15% restocking fee*. Every item returned is carefully received, examined, and shipped back to our vendors with significant time and costs involved.
Once the item is received in our facility, allow up to 2-3 business days for an email confirmation of the refund status.
Free Ground Shipping for domestic exchange orders!*
You have 14 days from receipt to do so. See below for instructions:
- Call us at 888-711-7272 or place a new order online. Reference your order number in the comment area on the shipping/billing info page.
- When we process the new order, we will waive the domestic ground shipping.
- An email confirmation will be sent to you once we receive your return item.
- For a manual exchange, please fill out the form sent with your original order with the item you are returning on the left and item you would like in exchange on the right.
Exchanges must be of equal or greater value. Coupon codes, promotions or gift certificates received are non-transferable to the new exchange order.
After we have received the exchange item, please allow up to 2-3 business days for an email confirmation of the refund status.
For your convenience, we provide you with your order status notification during each step of order processing. Automated email confirmations are sent to the email address provided after an order has been placed. If you have not received email confirmations on the same day you placed your order, please contact us.
As of July 10th, all credit/debit card orders will be charged as they are placed. If the order is placed outside of business hours, it will be charged the following business day. If you have paid with PayPal, funds will be captured immediately.
For each process of your order, an automated email will be provided. You will receive a shipping estimates and shipping confirmations with tracking information. In each automated confirmation email, you will receive a confirmation link. Your confirmation link can be accessed 24/7 and will have all current details and updates for your order. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department.
As soon as your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation via email with tracking information. It will provide you with a link to follow your packages transit progress to its shipment destination. The tracking number will also show on the online order detail link that you are provided with in your original email confirmation. You can also contact our customer service department.
International Credit Card Verification
For international clients, please advise that we verify all international credit cards used and international credit cards without support for electronic verification may incur an extra 3-5 business day verification delay.
To bypass this period and have your package shipped out efficiently, we recommend that you pay with PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account you can make one at PayPal.com.
Country Customs & Duties Fees
Shipping charges do not include international taxes or duties. We recommend that you contact your local customs office to request the details of these charges. If you decide to refuse any shipments from UptownWigs.com, you are responsible for the original shipping costs to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to UptownWigs.com. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. UptownWigs.com has made every effort to minimize the shipping costs and does not profit from these rates. We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. If you have any shipping and handling questions or comments please contact us.
Order Cancellations & Modifications
All order cancellations must be requested before 10 AM PST of the following day, otherwise an order cancellation charge of 15% will apply. To request an order cancellation, contact us.
Why do we charge a cancellation fee?
Although we stock thousands of different wigs, some items may need to be special ordered from the manufacturer to fulfill your order. Our wig manufacturers do not allow us to return these items back to them, so in effect UptownWigs absorbs the full cost of the wig in the case of a cancellation. Therefore, to minimize these costs and maintain our standard of excellent prices, we charge a 15% cancellation fee.
Refused packages will be subject to a 15% restocking fee and any applicable shipping charges. Undeliverable packages will be subject to reshipping charges.
Orders that have already been placed with previous promotions are not eligible for current promotions.
Out of Stock & Back-ordered Items
In the case that a purchased item is out of stock, we will send you an email. If your order contains multiple items, we may ship your order partially to expedite your order and give you the option to back-order, substitute or cancel the un-shipped items. No partial shipping for international orders. We will provide you with an estimated arrival date if one is available.

Damaged & Missing Items
Claims for damaged items or discrepancies (for example: missing items in your order) must be submitted within 24-48 hours of order receipt. Contact Customer Care and please retain all packaging material in case an inspection is necessary.
Any damages claimed after a month of receipt of the product is considered regular wear and tear.
Our website is available for ordering 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. However, our diligent staff does observe the following holidays for 2019:
